Joshua Gabriel is a prolific American artist who creates iconoclastic, metaphysically charged images and music. His work spans a variety of media, with a focus on line drawing, genre-bending music, public murals, video projection and live musical performance. Most recently jG manifests installations which recombine and alchemize all of the above into a nameless form which imbues physical space with the EGOMYSTiCAL, a term invented to describe the idea that our egoic journey is guided and permeated by the mystical and spiritual planes of existence toward self-knowledge, and ultimately transcendence into the greater consciousness. Joshua Gabriel has exhibited and performed throughout the United States, self-released a catalog of original music and DJ mixtapes, and has created large scale murals throughout New York City.
